William Toth joined Koniag Government Services company Kadiak as chief medical information officer following two decades of service in the U.S. Air Force, Toth announced in a LinkedIn post.
At USAF, he was the West Region director of operations for Air Force Medical Command. His previous roles also include deputy chief medical officer, fellow – clinical informatics and chief medical informatics officer.
Toth, in his new role at Kadiak, will be responsible for supporting the Indian Health Service’s electronic health record modernization initiative.
In May 2023, the Koniag Government Services subsidiary secured an $83 million contract to help an IHS program management office facilitate the usability and integration of agency data while ensuring patient care delivery.
“As I transitioned out of the military, I understood that my next chapter needed to be just as meaningful,” Toth said of his move to Kadiak. “I wanted to continue devoting myself to a cause I was passionate about, surrounded by people who share the same drive to serve.”
Kadiak is a professional services and enterprise information technology provider that serves both commercial and government clients. It is also a Small Business Administration-certified 8(a) company.
