Strategic Innovation Group has acquired Excelicon for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to expand its information technology capabilities for federal agency customers.
SIG said Wednesday Washington, D.C.-based Excelicon has been providing cyber policy and guidance, enterprise architecture, data analytics, agile DevSecOps and transformation, IT modernization and other technical mission support services for federal agencies since 2011.
Excelicon’s government clients include the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
As a result of the transaction, Excelicon Founder Tushar Garg will join SIG as general manager.
“Merging Excelicon’s enterprise-level experience and expertise expands the depth and breadth of SIG’s core capabilities in the application of advanced solutions and services. This represents a significant step forward for SIG,” said SIG CEO Vikram Agarwal.
The transaction marks the third acquisition for SIG.
