Maximus (NYSE: MMS) has named technology executive Mike Raker as chief technology officer.
In this capacity, he oversees Maximus’ technology and innovation organization, drives strategic tech initiatives and investments in research and development activities and aligns technical platforms to enterprise strategy and business needs, the company said Wednesday.
“Mike and his team are laser focused on delivering innovative technologies to support our government clients worldwide. Under his direction, we’ve recently launched two capability accelerators in AI/ML and Customer Experience (CX) and developed their roadmaps to impact across all business segments,” said Derrick Pledger, chief digital and information officer of Maximus.
“Mike’s team has also helped stand up our Global Capability Center to further drive growth and excellent operational execution worldwide. We’re excited about this progress and what’s next, including new innovations in core offerings such as our Total Experience Management solution,” added Pledger.
Raker previously served as a vice president at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), where he led the development of the tech and innovation strategy for a pipeline of international software and related platforms.
He also held CTO roles at product and services scaleups both in the U.S. and abroad.
