Mike Stepniak, an experienced global finance leader, has been promoted to chief financial officer at Honeywell International (NASDAQ: HON).
The company said Thursday Stepniak will take over the role currently held by Greg Lewis once the company’s fourth quarter and full-year financial results for fiscal year 2024 are out.
Stepniak is presently the vice president and CFO for Honeywell Aerospace Technologies and will serve as VP for corporate finance during the transition. Lewis, meanwhile, will move on as senior VP of Honeywell Accelerator and serve as a senior adviser to Vimal Kapur, chairman and CEO of the company.
Stepniak joined the company in 2020 as VP and CFO at Honeywell Building Technologies.
Before that, Stepniak was with General Electric (NYSE: GE) for almost 20 years. He started as part of the financial management program in 2002 and gradually moved up until he was named CFO of subsea systems and drilling.
In 2017, Stepniak transferred to Baker Hughes International (NYSE: BHGE), a GE company, where he spent almost three years as CFO of oilfield equipment.
