G. Maliek Ferebee, a human resources professional with nearly 25 years of industry experience, has been named chief human capital officer at BlueHalo.
The aerospace and defense contractor said Monday Ferebee will supervise its HR operations.
He will be responsible for developing a talent pool of professionals with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. The executive will also oversee performance management, compensation and benefits and other HR-related tasks.
Before his move to BlueHalo, Ferebee held the CHCO position at both DLH and Alion Science and Technology, which was acquired by HII (NYSE: HII) in 2021. He also spent more than nine years at AECOM (NYSE: ACM) as HR director and later corporate vice president for human resources. He started his career in 2011 as HR manager at QinetiQ‘s U.S. business arm.
Robert Richards, president of business operations and chief financial officer at BlueHalo, stated, “Over the past two decades, [Ferebee] has expertly helped guide organizations through various internal transformations and large-scale change across the industry. As BlueHalo grows, Maliek’s team will focus on finding ways to help our employees grow as well.”
