10 Companies Land Spots on $670M Navy Contract for Ship Maintenance, Modernization

The U.S. Navy has awarded 10 companies spots on a $669.9 million contract for the repair, maintenance and modernization of non-nuclear surface ships in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers continuous maintenance, emergent maintenance and Chief of Naval Operations availabilities, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The contractors under the firm-fixed-price multiple award IDIQ are:

  • Caliedo & Sons Services
  • Delphinus Engineering
  • East Coast Repair & Fabrication 
  • Epsilon Systems Solutions
  • Marisco
  • Ohana Marines Services
  • Pacific Shipyards International
  • Propulsion Controls Engineering
  • Regal Service Co.
  • Vigor Marine

Work will occur in the Pearl Harbor, Hawaii homeport area. The contract is expected to be completed by September 2029.

Each awardee will receive a minimum of $10,000 from fiscal 2024 operations and maintenance funds at the time of the award. Additional funding will be provided with every delivery order.

Naval Sea Systems Command, the contracting activity, received 15 bids for the contract via the SAM.gov website.
