Summit Technology Group has appointed Marc Tate, a federal technology industry executive, as executive vice president of federal sales for the company’s public sector business.
STG announced Tate’s appointment in a LinkedIn post.
Tate brings to the role decades of experience in federal and financial technology sales, project management, corporate strategy, business development and information technology.
Prior to joining STG’s public sector arm, the executive VP was senior director of federal partners at Tanium, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He previously held executive roles at Amazon Web Services, Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and Pentagon Federal Credit Union.
In June, STG appointed Bill Webner, a GovCon industry executive and a 2024 Wash100 awardee, as CEO of its public sector business. After a month, Kathryn Kienast, a business development executive, joined the Enlightenment Capital portfolio company as EVP of client success within the public sector.
