Radiant Logic’s Wade Ellery: Unified View of Identity Data Key to Advancing Zero Trust

Wade Ellery, field chief technology officer and senior technical evangelist at Radiant Logic, said government agencies that intend to implement an identity and access management infrastructure need to have a 360-degree view of identity data.

In an article published on Carahsoft.com, Ellery described a zero trust security model as a journey that begins “with integrating systems and identity data to build a comprehensive, defensive model and manage security profiles from a full enterprise view.”

The field CTO noted that Radiant Logic supports UberEther’s IAM Advantage platform by performing identity integration and aggregation, providing administrators with the needed information to take action.

Ellery discussed how the technologies of companies like SailPoint, CyberArk and Ping Identity enable UberEther to deliver a comprehensive zero trust architecture to agencies through IAM Advantage.

The Radiant Logic executive also stressed the need for agencies to include servers, applications and other non-human entities in identity management efforts.

“Non-human entities such as servers, applications, service accounts and bots play a vital role in network operations and cannot be overlooked,” Ellery said. “If an entity has attributes or identity information and needs to access a resource, it must be managed securely.”
