Edward Resh, a consulting engineer at Optiv + ClearShark, said government agencies looking to identify actionable data and comply with federal cybersecurity mandates should have visibility and control over security data and event logging.
In an article published on Carahsoft.com, Resh discussed the company’s partnership with Cribl to help agencies identify actionable data amid the challenge of dealing with large data volumes.
“Specifically, our partnership with Cribl helps agencies find actionable data by using Cribl’s technology to route, reduce, reformat, enrich or otherwise structure data in flight then send it to any destination,” he wrote.
The Optiv + ClearShark executive discussed how technologies like Cribl Stream provide agencies with visibility into data and allow them to quickly act on collected information.
