Dave Gore has joined General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business as vice president of growth within the subsidiary’s intelligence and homeland security division.
Aaron Bedrowsky, senior VP of IHS at General Dynamics IT, said in a LinkedIn post Monday that Gore’s leadership experience will be instrumental to the division’s growth.
Gore brings to GDIT extensive experience in the government contracting industry. He previously held the position of business development VP at CACI International (NYSE: CACI), where he oversaw efforts to capture new opportunities in the cyber, space, engineering, and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance markets.
He also spent three years as director of business development and strategy for the intelligence and information services business unit under Raytheon, now RTX (NYSE: RTX).
Earlier in his career, Gore was a member of the leadership team for the cyber and information solutions business unit at Science Applications International Corp. (Nasdaq: SAIC).
Gore holds master’s degrees in business administration and computer engineering from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University, respectively.
“As we focus on bringing more to the mission, I look forward to partnering with Dave as he leads IHS in the development and execution of new growth strategies for our business and our customers,” Bedrowsky wrote.
