Christoph Feddersen Appointed L3Harris VP, General Counsel & Secretary

L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has appointed Christoph Feddersen, a legal professional in the aerospace and defense industry for more than 25 years, as vice president, general counsel and secretary

The company said Friday he succeeds the retiring Scott Mikuen, who has been with L3Harris for nearly three decades, including 15 years as general counsel.

Feddersen will directly report to L3Harris Chair and CEO Christopher Kubasik as he manages all legal, global trade, ethics and compliance matters and oversees the company’s environmental, health and safety and security groups.

ā€œChristoph brings extensive defense industry expertise and a record of leadership that will help continue driving our company forward to support critical national security initiatives,ā€ said Kubasik, a three-time Wash100 awardee.

Feddersen most recently served as VP and general counsel for the space and airborne systems segment at L3Harris.

Before L3Harris, he was general counsel at RTX (NYSE: RTX) subsidiary Collins Aerospace and spent more than a decade at United Technologies, where he served as chief of staff to the chairman and chief executive, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He also spent six years at law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
