CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has secured a $319 million task order to impart its expertise on intelligence systems to the U.S. Army.
The information technology company said Wednesday it was chosen to fulfill a five-year work aimed at supporting an Army office in establishing and maintaining an advanced and on-demand environment. The platform is envisioned to provide current threat data in order to support multi-domain operations.
The task order will particularly support the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team-Program Office within the Communications-Electronics Command’s Electronic Warfare and Sensors Directorate. The project will also benefit other services and military partners.
John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI and a 2024 Wash100 awardee, stressed the importance of the project in keeping the Army up-to-date against rapidly evolving threats like kinetic and electromagnetic spectrum warfare.
According to Mengucci, CACI’s expertise in EMS and software-defined capabilities, along with its experience with Army systems like ARAT’s Simulation and Modeling Framework, will be beneficial in modernizing electronic warfare capabilities needed for the office’s current mission requirements.
In 2019, CACI secured a five-year task order valued at $88 million from the U.S. Army to provide technical services for CECOM‘s Software Engineering Center.
