Tanium, a converged endpoint management technology provider, has named Andy Nick as senior vice president of U.S. federal, according to the executive’s LinkedIn announcement.
Nick brings to Tanium over eight years of leadership experience at Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT). His most recent role was managing director responsible for promoting the company’s portfolio of secure productivity tools to federal civilian agencies.
In his new role at Tanium, Nick will oversee efforts to execute growth strategies and provide U.S. government customers with the company’s XEM platform.
“Tanium brings unmatched endpoint visibility to federal departments and agencies with intelligent automation that drives unparalleled outcomes, and I’m enthusiastic for the journey forward with this amazing team,” he wrote.
The Tanium SVP’s career also includes time working at enterprise information technology company InfoReliance, business consulting service provider MicroLink, IT professional service startup Progressive Technologies Management, Kaiser Permanente, IBM (NYSE: IBM) and PwC.
Nick has a bachelor’s degree in integrated science and technology from James Madison University.
