Abacus Technology Wins $124M Air Force Contract for Technical Advisory & Assistance Services

Abacus Technology has won a potential five-year, $123.7 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide technical advisory and assistance services for the military branch’s nuclear, command, control and communication directorate.

The Department of Defense said Friday the NC3 Branch at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts received two offers for the contract through a competitive acquisition process.

The contract has a one-year base period that will kick off on Aug. 17 and four one-year options and will include support to help improve organizational policy development, management and administration, program, project management and administration and professional advice to enhance government management procedures.

The Air Force will obligate $8.1 million in funds and expects contract work to be performed at the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center at Hanscom AFB, Kirtland AFB in New Mexico, Eglin AFB in Florida, Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado, Offutt AFB in Nebraska and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

Chevy Chase, Maryland-based Abacus Technology provides enterprise information technology, management consulting, strategic communications and research analysis and technical assistance for military and federal government agency customers.
