V2X Receives $141M Navy Task Order for C4I Systems Engineering Support

V2X (NYSE: VVX) has booked a $141 million U.S. Navy task order for continued delivery of assured communication capability to the naval fleet.

Under the cost-plus-fixed-fee award, the company said Wednesday it will perform engineering services in support of the command, control, communications, computer and intelligence systems used by the service branch’s afloat force.

V2X will also provide systems engineering and technical innovation to equip the Navy with new capabilities for mitigating network threats.

Fleet systems engineers from V2X will be responsible for C4I system performance monitoring to provide computer network defense status and ensure Navy systems are secured.

The task order is under the Navy’s Fleet Systems Engineering Team program and extends the contract through July 2029 and possibly 2030 if its option is exercised.

V2X President and CEO Jeremy Wensinger highlighted the company’s over two-decade history of delivering C4I support under FSET program.

“V2X provides a full range of assured communications services that are integral to the readiness of U.S. Navy ships,” he said.
