Ravi Gourineni Joins Lithe Solutions as COO

 Digital services company Lithe Solutions has appointed Ravi Gourineni, an information technology executive, as chief operating officer.

In a LinkedIn post published Tuesday, the company said Gourineni will oversee growth initiatives and help ensure the delivery of innovative platforms to clients.

“[Gourineni’s] expertise in agile development, data-centric solutions, and robust security practices aligns perfectly with our mission to empower government agencies with the tools and technologies they need to serve citizens more effectively,” Lithe said.

The newly appointed COO brings to Lithe over two decades of government contracting experience, supporting defense, federal civilian and health agency customers with a focus on delivering large-scale IT projects.

“As I step into this new role at Lithe, I am filled with confidence and enthusiasm about the journey ahead. Our mission to make government services better – more accessible, efficient, and secure, is one that I am deeply passionate about,” Gourineni said in a post on the professional networking site.

Gourineni most recently served as chief delivery officer at Fearless, a Maryland-based government digital transformation company.

His industry career included leadership positions at several GovCon companies, including Nava, CGI (NYSE: GIB), General Dynamics Information Technology, Salient CRGT and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).

Gourineni was among the participants of a panel discussion at the Potomac Officers Club’s 5th Annual AI Summit in March. He shared that inserting AI into existing ones and improving from there could help make AI more effective.

“One thing that we can do immediately in AI systems —  it’s not about building large AI systems. It’s also about what can we do with existing systems, add AI capabilities where we can to make it effective,” Gourineni said.
