Oshkosh Defense Books $143M DLA Contract for Army Vehicle Parts

Oshkosh‘s (NYSE: OSK) defense business arm has secured a Defense Logistics Agency contract worth $143.2 million over a three-year period for armored vehicle parts.

The Department of Defense said Friday Oshkosh Defense will deliver wheel and tire assemblies to the U.S. Army under the firm-fixed-price, requirements contract.

The military service may put orders until July 11, 2027, and fund it using fiscal 2024 through 2027 working capital funds.

In April 2023, the Oshkosh subsidiary also won a potential $156 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from DLA for pneumatic tire and wheel assemblies. The IDIQ has an April 27, 2026, ordering period end date.

Other Oshkosh Defense contracts with the U.S. Army

Oshkosh Defense has booked several awards from the Army for its military vehicles and related items. Most recently, it secured $231.9 million in orders from the service branch for the production of modernized heavy tactical vehicles and the delivery of related kits.

In November 2023, the vehicle manufacturer was awarded a seven-year, $341.2 million contract for medium equipment trailers and a $160.9 million contract modification for Joint Light Tactical Vehicles, trailers as well as packaged and installed kits.
