Amentum has appointed Nathan Rutledge, a finance executive with deep experience in building relationships with the investment community, as senior vice president and head of investor relations.
In this capacity, Rutledge will oversee the company’s financial performance, business model and long-term strategy and all investor relations activities related to Amentum’s merger with the critical mission solutions and cyber and intelligence businesses of Jacobs Solutions (NYSE: J) and subsequent listing on the public market, Amentum said Tuesday.
In November, Jacobs agreed to spin off and merge its CMS and cyber and intelligence segments with Amentum to establish a new publicly traded government technology services contractor.
“Nathan joins Amentum with significant relevant experience and a proven track record delivering superior outcomes, playing a pivotal role in enhancing shareholder value and driving strategic initiatives,” said Travis Johnson, chief financial officer of Amentum.
“We believe that his deep expertise in investor relations and strategic communications will prove instrumental as we prepare to execute a transformational go-public transaction, continue to execute on our growth strategies, and deliver long-term value to our shareholders,” added Johnson.
Rutledge most recently served as principal and head of investor relations at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).
He also led investor relations and served as managing director at Navient.
