Rocket company Relativity Space has appointed Matt Gratias, a business development executive, as vice president of federal programs.
Gratias announced his promotion at the Long Beach, California-based company in a LinkedIn post published Thursday.
He most recently served as senior director of government business development at Relativity Space, according to his profile on the professional networking site.
Prior to joining Relativity Space in 2022, he spent two years at Virtualitics, where he served as VP of federal business and director of DOD engagement responsible for addressing big data challenges facing the Department of Defense.
Gratias, a U.S. Navy veteran, also served as a senior adviser to the managing director and regional director for the Pacific at the National Security Innovation Network.
His naval career included time as a cryptologic linguist and as an intelligence analyst.
