Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received a potential five-year, $823 million task order from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide sustainment and operations support services for the Department of Defense Network program.
The company said Monday the task order was issued under the 10-year, $11.5 billion Defense Enclave Services contract awarded by DISA in 2022.
Under the task order, Leidos will provide systems engineering, cybersecurity, network architecture and management and other technical services to help DISA migrate 14 more Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities and their legacy platforms to the consolidated DoDNet environment, expanding support to over 160,000 users.
“As one of DISA’s largest IT service providers, Leidos is focused on leveraging our innovation, speed, and agility to deliver an exceptional user experience and establish a strong foundation of operations and maintenance support to expand the DoDNet user community,” said Steve Hull, president of the digital modernization sector at Leidos.
“By delivering the standardized DoDNet, our goal is to enable more efficient service delivery and support across DAFAs to advance the mission of our nation’s warfighters and secure our combat operations around the world,” added Hull.
Once the deployment is complete, DoDNet is expected to support about 370,000 DAFA users and workstations.
