James Allred, a more than three-decade government contracting industry professional, was named vice president of programs at Freedom Technology Solutions Group, according to his LinkedIn announcement.
Prior to joining the Columbia, Maryland-based information technology company, Allred served as a program management director at Science Applications International Corp. (Nasdaq: SAIC) for over seven years.
His extensive GovCon industry career also includes time working as senior program manager at CACI International (NYSE: CACI), senior subject matter expert at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) IT business, deputy program manager at ManTech International and systems integration analyst staff at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).
Before transitioning to the industry, Allred was in the U.S. Navy for 10 years as an information technician.
Freedom is part of the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services, or OASIS, contract, which is a multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracting vehicle for acquiring professional services.
