The U.S. Army has started soliciting information on potential industry sources that could provide information technology and business management support services for the military branch worldwide.

According to a sources sought notice published Thursday, Army Contracting Command plans to award a potential five-year, $99 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to a small business 8(a) contractor to meet the requirement.

Task Areas

The planned single-award IDIQ contract has eight task areas: cybersecurity services; IT services; enterprise design, integration and consolidation; network/systems operation and maintenance; telecommunications/systems operation and maintenance; business process reengineering; IT supply chain management; and IT education and training, cloud services, data services and intelligent automation such as artificial intelligence and robotic process automation.

According to the draft performance work statement, the selected vendor will provide a full range of platforms, equipment, software and services to support the Army Enterprise infostructure and infrastructure goals.

“Also included is support to analyze requirements, develop and implement recommended solutions, operate and maintain legacy systems and equipment,” the draft PWS reads.

Interested stakeholders should provide information on their experience and capabilities that could meet the requirements across the task areas stated in the draft PWS, their past experience in managing a team of subcontractors and whether they provide similar services to the Department of Defense, another government agency or other non-government customer.

ACC also wants information on potential offerors’ familiarity with reporting procedures of deliverables, experience with material purchases and government furnished equipment tracking and capabilities for keeping and receiving inventory of laptops, desktop computers and other IT assets in a warehouse environment.
