Anneke Christensen, a P&L and growth executive and project management professional, was appointed vice president of growth at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, according to her LinkedIn announcement.
Christensen worked as senior vice president of business development and operations at language and intelligence analysis services company Acclaim Technical Services and managing owner of Stratix Group before joining General Dynamics Information Technology.
According to her LinkedIn profile, the executive also spent nearly two decades at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), serving as vice president at the American defense, aviation, IT and biomedical research company.
Christensen, early in her career, was a mission manager for the U.S. Air Force for several years prior to joining the industry.
She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland – Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in International Business degree from the Strayer University.
