Columbia, Maryland-based Synergy ECP has acquired SPYROS Information & Technology Consulting in a transaction that expands its cybersecurity service offerings for customer agencies within the intelligence community and Department of Defense.
Synergy said Tuesday SPYROS supports clients within DOD, IC and the Department of Energy’s national laboratories by providing capabilities in critical infrastructure resilience, signals intelligence, computer network operations and 5G technologies, among other areas.
“SPYROS strengthens our ability to provide critical cyber solutions through an industry-leading team, years of unique past performance, and new contract vehicle access,” said Bruce Howard, founder and CEO of Synergy ECP.
“Together we are positioned at the absolute forefront of national security priorities, and we are thrilled to advance on our collective mission of delivering excellence to customers and accomplishing the most demanding missions under the most difficult circumstances,” added Howard.
Synergy ECP received support from Falfurrias Capital Partners, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based private equity firm, in the acquisition, which came three months after Synergy purchased SoftTech Solutions.
Evergreen Advisors Capital acted as SPYROS’ sell-side adviser in the transaction.
