General Dynamics to Continue M10 Booker Combat Vehicle Production Under $323M Army Award

General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) land systems business has booked a $322.7 million contract modification from the U.S. Army for low-rate initial production of the M10 Booker combat vehicle.

The Department of Defense said Thursday General Dynamics Land Systems will perform work at its Sterling Heights, Michigan location and in Anniston, Alabama, and Lima, Ohio, until Oct. 20, 2026.

The Army obligated the full contract modification amount from fiscal 2023 and 2024 weapons and tracked combat vehicle procurement funds at the time of the award.

General Dynamics Land Systems produces the M10 Booker, formerly called Mobile Protected Firepower, under a potential $1.14 billion low-rate production contract awarded in June 2022.

In April, the General Dynamics subsidiary secured a potential five-year, $296.8 million Army contract for system technical services in support of the military branch’s M10 Booker platform.
