Everfox, formerly Forcepoint Federal, has agreed to acquire London-based Garrison Technology in a transaction that expands its portfolio of cybersecurity platforms designed to help government and enterprise customers protect their digital infrastructure.
Herndon, Virginia-based Everfox said Wednesday it expects the acquisition to close in the summer of 2024, subject to regulatory review and other customary closing conditions.
In January, Forcepoint Federal changed its name to Everfox as part of a rebranding effort that intends to reflect its commitment to building and delivering defense-grade cybersecurity platforms to federal government customers.
âWe are continuing our focus on growth and innovation and are excited to add Garrison’s hardsec and software solutions to our portfolio. Everfox has been working with Garrison as a partner for several years and have found their technology to be a complementary extension to our software cross domain solutions for connecting high-threat networks for both on-premise and cloud,â said Everfox CEO Sean Berg.
Garrison Technology was founded by CEO David Garfield and Chief Scientist Henry Harrison in 2014. The company provides hardware-enforced security and software capabilities for government and commercial clients to support their digital transformation efforts. Its Garrison ULTRA browser isolation platform helps organizations protect against phishing, ransomware attacks and other web-based risks.
Citi acted as Everfox’s financial adviser in the transaction.
