Chris Brady had to make room in his already robust display of Wash100 Awards for a fifth trophy. Jim Garrettson, founder of the award and CEO of Executive Mosaic, hand-delivered the coveted GovCon accolade recently to General Dynamics Mission Systems, where Brady is president.
The Wash100 has accrued a significant history over the last decade as an arbiter of the most impactful change-makers in the government contracting industry. By assessing leaders in the field based on innovation, vision, reliability and other factors, EM selects the 100 individuals, either from industry or the public sector, who they feel are most likely to drive the market in the near future. Winners include C-suite executives, military generals, cunning technologists and beyond.
Despite overall low turnover rates for Wash100 wins, Brady has consistently made the cut due to his dedicated support of the defense ecosystem — 2023 alone saw him lead GDMS to clinch large contracts from the U.S. Air Force and Army and to ink an important deal with the National Security Agency. “[Chris’] collaborative leadership style, combined with his keen understanding of technology and the global landscape, allows him to attract and retain top talent, optimize resource allocation and forge strong alignment among his accomplished executive team,” shared Garrettson.
Executive Mosaic is looking forward to seeing what Brady and GDMS have in store for the coming months. That bureau is looking mighty full!
