Medical device manufacturer Arthrex has received a five-year, $471 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to deliver orthopedic procedural packages and supplies to military and government customers.
The DLA Troop Support in Pennsylvania awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract on a sole source basis and will fund the procurement using defense working capital funds for fiscal 2024 through 2029, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Arthrex will supply the surgical devices to the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.
DOD expects work to conclude by June 10, 2029.
Arthrex provides hospital equipment and accessories to defense and civilian agencies via the DLA’s electronic catalog under a $375 million contract set to expire in September.
