The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has selected eight contractors out of the 29 vendors that submitted their bids online to offer architecture and engineering general design support.
AECOM‘s (NYSE: ACM) technical services business, Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, CEMS Engineering, EXP Federal, HDR Engineering, Merrick-RS&H joint venture, The Mason & Hanger Group and Stantec Consulting Services were awarded spots on the $240 million contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The contractors will compete for each order of the firm-fixed-price contract, with work locations and funding to be determined with each award.
Contract work is expected to be completed by May 31, 2029.
In January 2023, AECOM Technical Services won a $239 million contract for architect-engineer services in support of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command’s cleanup projects at former waste disposal sites. Under the five-year award, the company is providing field investigation, laboratory testing and technical work throughout the remediation process.
