Valerie Cawthron, formerly director of employee relations at IPT Associates, has been promoted to vice president of human resources at the Massachusetts-based provider of information technology and professional services.
Cawthron, in this role, will continue to help drive strategic growth and operational excellence and transform the service-disabled veteran-owned small business into a customer-centric organization, IPTA said in a LinkedIn post.
“Val has been a large, integral part into IPTA’s ability to grow while remaining connected to our associates. We’re very proud and excited to have her as our VP of HR and we look forward to her approach and new success in this role,” said Jon Katz, president and chief operating officer of IPTA.
Cawthron started her career at IPTA in May 2018 as an HR manager and was appointed director of employee relations in April 2021.
Before that, she spent 18 years at software company Verocel, where she held roles in business operations, finance, HR and project management.
