Robert Nichols, a partner at law firm Nichols Liu, has joined CRDF Global as general counsel.
He brings to the role his years of experience, relationships and expertise in the international government services sector and not-for-profit organizations supporting public missions, CRDF Global said Monday.
CRDF Global CEO Mike Dignam said Nichols has played a key role in the nonprofit organization’s strategic direction and growth initiatives in the past several years.
âIn addition to his excellent legal counsel through our recent acquisition and other key milestones, Robert has continually broadened our network of partners, affiliated experts, and supporters throughout our key domains of global security, development, and digital resilience,â Dignam added.
Before founding Nichols Liu, Nichols was a partner and co-chair of the government contracts group at Covington & Burling. He also served as a partner in Crowell & Moring’s government contracts practice.
His government career included time serving at the White House and as a judge advocate general within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
