Lockheed Receives $553M in Army MRLS Supply Contract Modifications

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has secured a pair of modifications worth $553.4 million combined to build and deliver surface-to-surface rocket weapon systems to the U.S. Army and foreign military customers.

The company will provide Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems to the service branch under a $332.1 million modification to a GMLRS supply contract awarded in October 2022, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Army Contracting Command will determine work locations and budget upon issuance of each order and expects work to conclude by Oct. 20, 2027.

Lockheed also received a $221.2 million contract modification to modernize the M270 MRLS systems to the M270A2 configuration for the Army and the governments of Finland, Italy and the U.K.

Work will occur in Texas and Arkansas through April 30, 2028.
