The U.S. Navy has awarded Deloitte Consulting a potential five-year, $87.9 million contract to modernize, sustain and improve the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services training virtual environment.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday Naval Information Warfare Systems Command received three offers for the command, control, communications, computers and intelligence, training virtual environment or C4I TVE contract.
C4I TVE is a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that covers support to additional tactical networks and hosted and connected applications across the NAVWAR enterprise.
CANES is an enterprise information platform composed of computing software, hardware and network services and seeks to offer a consolidated physical network to facilitate information sharing and provide users with a common understanding of the battlespace.
The company will perform work in California, Florida, Maryland, South Carolina and Virginia through May 2029.
