Tom Terjesen, an information technology industry leader, has returned to Peraton as senior vice president and chief information officer.
In this capacity, he will oversee the implementation of Peraton’s IT strategy to drive growth initiatives and meet operational, employee experience and financial objectives and serve as a senior IT adviser to the executive leadership team, the company said Monday.
Terjesen “understands our company and the critical role IT needs to play in our support of customers’ missions of consequence,” said Stu Shea, chairman, president and CEO of Peraton and a 2024 Wash100 awardee.
Terjesen most recently served as SVP and CIO at ASRC Federal, where he led IT initiatives and strategy execution.
He assumed the role of VP of IT at Peraton after the company acquired Perspecta in 2021 and held IT leadership positions at Vencore, BAE Systems and AIG (NYSE: AIG).
