RealmOne, an Enlightenment Capital-backed technology services contractor, has moved to expand its technological capabilities in support of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers with its acquisition of Torin Consulting.
Reston, Virginia-based Torin has been providing analytical and operational services, software development, cybersecurity, network engineering and DevOps platforms for IC and other federal government customers since 2014.
“Together, we will strengthen RealmOne’s position as a middle market leader, enabling us to support our customers’ most demanding national security challenges. We are excited to join forces with Torin as one team,” RealmOne CEO Gary Daigle said in a statement published Tuesday.
With the latest transaction, RealmOne has more than $2 billion in prime contract awards and about 1,000 employees focused on meeting national security objectives.
“By joining forces now, we will expand and enhance our portfolio of specialized capabilities, ensuring that we continue to meet our customers’ pressing challenges in the increasingly dynamic cyber, data science, and automation sectors,” commented Jaime Shafter and Evan Smith, founders of Torin.
In January, RealmOne launched as Enlightenment Capital’s new cybersecurity and intelligence platform company after the private investment firm merged four businesses – iNovex, Innoplex, Secure Innovations and HTS Infosys – to form the new entity.
