Eric Gudino, formerly security supervisor at Applied Signal Technology, has been appointed vice president of security at Fornax Advanced Materials, a developer of advanced materials designed for defense and aerospace applications.
The U.S. Navy veteran will lead a team of security professionals at Fornax-AM and manage the company’s security program, the Chicago, Illinois-based company said in a LinkedIn post on Friday.
“He brings a wealth of experience in managing and overseeing the execution of industrial security programs at the highest levels of classification. Considering the nature of his military and industry experience, he appreciates, firsthand, the preeminence of the security function and compliance to the strategy and values of our company,” said John Havermann, president and CEO of Fornax-AM.
Gudino brings decades of experience in protecting sensitive national security data, critical infrastructure and company assets.
Before retiring from the Navy in 2006, Gudino operated communication systems, developed and implemented an electronic warfare strategy and collected and analyzed threat intelligence.
