Defense Information Systems Agency Director Lt. Gen. Robert Skinner accepted his 2024 Wash100 Award from Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson on stage during the Potomac Officers Club’s 5th Annual CIO Summit.

Skinner earned his third consecutive Wash100 Award this year in recognition of his leadership at DISA and within the critical areas of AI and cybersecurity. During his keynote speech at the CIO Summit, the DISA director previewed the agency’s new five-year strategy and spoke about topics such as AI, legacy tech and cyber threats.

Skinner oversees one of the world’s most complex global defense and communications networks, and he’s responsible for maintaining our nation’s readiness in the event of a conflict; the gravity of his work cannot be understated,” said Garrettson. “Lt.
