Brent Mitchell, a technology industry executive, has taken on the position of vice president of go-to-market at Google’s public sector arm.
He announced his appointment in a LinkedIn post published Friday.
Mitchell most recently served as VP of U.S. state and local government and education at Google Public Sector.
In 2019, he joined Google from Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), where he served as group VP and area VP.
Mitchell also held sales management roles at several tech companies, including BMC Software, Peregrine Systems, Smith Micro Software (Nasdaq: SMSI) and Epicor Software, according to his LinkedIn profile.
