Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Young Bang received his 2024 Wash100 Award from Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent 4×24 executive leadership series event.

Bang received his first Wash100 Award this year for championing emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and for his outstanding leadership within the Army.
“For the past two years, Young has played a vital role in reshaping software acquisition, guiding AI adoption, designing interoperable data architectures and spearheading acquisition improvements for the U.S. Army,” Garrettson said of the 2024 Wash100 winner. “His unique combination of military, industry and government experience makes him a well-rounded leader with a deep understanding of the government and government contracting ecosystems.”
