Software developer Bluestaq has named Brandon Tripp, a previous director at the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command and former member of the Army special forces, as its new chief growth officer.
Bluestaq announced the appointment on LinkedIn, touting Tripp’s “innovative leadership” and “extensive background in aerospace, defense, and data” — qualities that the company said would help with business expansion into new commercial markets and U.S. government communities.
For his part, Tripp on LinkedIn expressed pride in taking on the new role, adding that he is excited to work with Bluestaq CEO and co-founder Seth Harvey and Chief Operating Officer and Global Data Marketplace Chief Compliance Officer Rebecca Decker, along with the rest of the company.
Before joining Bluestaq, Tripp had been part of Palantir Technologies, where he was responsible for lead capture for the company’s space business.
His other prior employers include AMERGINT Technologies and TMC Design Corporation.
