The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville has begun seeking proposals for a potential 10-year, $3 billion multiple-award task order contract to provide energy and water conservation services at federal facilities.
A notice posted Friday on SAM.gov states that the Energy Savings Performance Contracts IV indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle will enable federal agencies to procure services without up-front capital costs or special appropriations from Congress to reduce their facilities’ energy or water consumption.
The selected contractors will support federally-owned facilities in multiple locations throughout the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions including Australia, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the U.K.
ESPC IV will cover the installation of energy and water conservation and renewable energy projects and the provision of repair and replacement, operation and maintenance, and measurement and verification services, according to draft solicitation documents.
Responses to the request for proposals are due May 13.
