Since 2008, Cognosante has been providing cloud migration support, program management and technology platforms for federal health care programs supporting veterans, active-duty personnel, providers and other beneficiaries, Accenture said Monday.
Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal arm now has more than 14,000 employees and is expected to integrate Cognosante’s over 1,500 personnel through the acquisition, which is subject to regulatory assessment and other customary closing conditions.

Goodman, a 2024 Wash100 awardee, noted that the company is impressed with Cognosante’s capabilities, people and impact and through the transaction, the entities will leverage technology to meet the country’s priorities.
