Sandra Amis, an international development leader with more than 25 years of experience, was appointed as chief administrative officer of CRDF Global, a nonprofit organization that delivers security and international development support to customers.
CRDF Global said Friday Amis joined from Management Systems International, a Tetra Tech company (Nasdaq: TTEK) supporting the U.S. Agency for International Development, State Department and other government agencies. Most recently, she was a vice president responsible for operations, contracts, compliance, financial management, business development and business support services.
Commenting on the appointment, CRDF Global CEO Mike Dignam underscored the critical role Amis will assume to facilitate the nonprofit’s strategic expansion into the development landscape.
“As we expand our customer base and diversify our mission set, Sandra brings valuable perspective and decades of directly relevant experience in the development field,” added Dignam. “Her insights will inform the optimization of our business operations teams and global resources in support of the unique requirements of our current and future missions at the nexus of security and development.”
The MSI veteran worked for over three decades at the company. Prior to her nine-year stint as VP, she held roles of increasing responsibilities such as deputy director of operations, associate director of business development and director of cost and pricing.
“With CRDF Global’s track record of impactful work and excellent reputation, I look forward to leveraging my experience to contribute to our continued growth and innovation,” said Amis.
