Noblis Deputy Chief Information Officer Mark Lay has been chosen to succeed retiring vice president and CIO Gail Hogan.
The company said Wednesday that Lay will also be part of its Executive Council in his new role, effective April 2024.
The executive has been with Noblis for more than 15 years. He started as program director of online services, then became business unit head after four years.
Before Noblis, Lay was director of consulting at CGI (NYSE: GIB). He currently serves as a board member of the information technology policy advisory committee for the government of Fairfax County, Virginia.
“The selection committee and I are confident that Mark’s combined institutional, technical and leadership skills; ability to translate technical research initiatives to deliver value to our customers; and overall business acumen position him well for this critical role,” remarked Mile Corrigan, president and CEO of Noblis and two-time inductee into the Wash100 Award.
