In this capacity, he will oversee ManTech’s strategic approach to delivering digital transformation initiatives in support of U.S. defense, intelligence and federal civilian agency customers.
Matt Tait, president and CEO of ManTech and a 2024 Wash100 awardee, said Copeland brings to the role more than 25 years of industry experience as an expert in emerging technologies.
“At ManTech he will play an instrumental role in directing and developing next generation technology solutions that solve our clients’ toughest challenges today,” Tait added.
Copeland previously served as managing director and chief technology officer at Accenture Federal Services, where he helped advance the sale and delivery of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and cloud platforms to government agencies.
He also served as tech and operations lead for Healthcare.gov.
