Tria Federal, an information technology and advisory services provider, has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of technology leader John Cho as its first chief technology officer and Brian Wagner, a public affairs officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, as vice president of marketing and communications.
As CTO, Cho will oversee Tria Federal’s technology strategy and efforts to develop emerging technology platforms, the company said Wednesday.
Before Tria, he was VP of digital platforms and services and technology and chief information security officer at RRAI.
His industry career included time holding CTO roles at Peraton and Perspecta and senior tech leadership positions at DXC Technology, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE), HP and EDS.
Wagner will advance brand awareness efforts, drive revenue growth, support employee engagement initiatives and work with human resources to strengthen the company’s culture.
He previously worked at Maxar Technologies’ intelligence business as head of communications for U.S. government segment.
He also held the roles of senior director of corporate communications at Peraton and president of ScoutComms.
“As innovative, customer-focused leaders who excel at identifying opportunities for differentiation and have track records of strategic and operational success, John and Brian will play critical roles in the company,” said Tria CEO Tim Borchert.
Tria Federal provides IT infrastructure and modernization, cyber, data science, DevSecOps, health IT and other digital transformation support services for federal civilian, defense, intelligence and health agencies.
