Tim Solms, a technology executive with over three decades of combined military and industry experience, has been named CEO of space tracking and data analytics company Slingshot Aerospace.
The U.S. Army veteran will join the company’s board of directors and oversee innovation, growth and expansion initiatives across the domestic and international government and commercial markets, Slingshot said Wednesday.
Solms most recently served as executive vice president and general manager at data and analytics provider Dun & Bradstreet, overseeing business development programs for government customers in the U.S. and Canada.
He previously oversaw the defense businesses at Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) and VMware‘s (NYSE: VMW) federal arm and served as director of sales at Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL).
Solms sits on the board of 4C Strategies and serves as president of the board of directors for the HondaJet Owners and Pilots Association.
