The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has awarded 21 companies positions on a follow-on contract for professional, technical and scientific services in the fisheries domain.
NOAA competed the ProTech 2.0 Fisheries Domain contract as a total small business set-aside program with 26 offers received, according to award notices published Friday in the Federal Procurement Data System.
ProTech is a suite of multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts consisting of satellite, oceans, fisheries and weather domains with an $8 billion ceiling for the overall procurement effort.
In March 2023, NOOA issued a request for proposals for the ProTech 2.0 Fisheries Domain contract, which has a five-year base ordering period and one five-year option term. It covers six task areas including studies, data analysis and report; field sampling, data collection and surveys; and applied research, engineering, consulting and operations.
