Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and code intelligence platforms provider Sourcegraph have teamed up to provide government customers with software development tools powered by generative artificial intelligence.
Under the exclusive alliance, Leidos said Thursday it will contribute its expertise in secure software delivery in support of federal government missions and advances in natural language processing and machine learning algorithms, among others.
Sourcegraph will bring to the partnership its code graph, which supports the AI coding assistant Cody and Code Search, which enables developers to look at the entire codebase and perform large-scale migrations and security fixes.
“By creating this alliance with Sourcegraph, we are enhancing our capabilities with a context-aware code platform, that empowers Leidos and its customer developers to deliver purpose-built, mission software faster and more securely,” said Roy Stevens, president of the national security sector at Leidos and a previous Wash100 awardee.
