Charles Faulkner, a national security and intelligence leader, has joined QinetiQ Group’s U.S. subsidiary as vice president of business development for the national and global security solutions business.
He disclosed the move in a LinkedIn post published Wednesday.
In his current role, Faulkner will advance development and growth initiatives at QinetiQ US in support of the company’s NGSS business.
Faulkner most recently served as an account executive at ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI), where he contributed to the company’s federal market expansion efforts and supported customers in the areas of technology innovation, cybersecurity, public safety and governance.
His government career included time as a senior adviser at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, chief of staff for the office of legislative affairs at the Department of Homeland Security, principal deputy assistant secretary at the State Department and legislative assistant within the House of Representatives, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He was an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and a senior analyst at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC).
Faulkner is an intelligence officer within the U.S. Air Force Reserve and a visiting fellow at the National Security Institute.
